It was safe to say Ellen and I were the perfect match from the very beginning. From our first phone call that went on over an hour I adored her sweet nature and energetic energy! She reminded me so much of myself and I absolutely couldn’t wait to be a part of their big day and Tybee wedding Chapel in Savannah GA! Being a wedding photographer I am always so very grateful for the people I get to meet along the way and who I hope to see and be friends with forever.

When I arrived at their Tybee Island beach house every one was so calm and simply ready to get the day started! As most of our summer weddings were this year there was a forecast of rain for the whole weekend. Ellen didn’t seem to mind one bit she was just so happy to be marrying Matthew! The excitement radiated from her smile! Seriously take a look and you’ll see she did NOT stop smiling all day long! So many beautiful moments captured!

Once the ceremony arrived the rain started to poor outside their chapel and thunder cracked throughout their vows and still this couple just laughed and joked that they would have plenty of good luck for all the rain outside. And just like that the rain stopped just in time for us to grab their portraits and all their photos outside!
