Liz is my best friend, my soul sista, my family. You see when you are a part of the Military life friends are so much more than friends. They are your everything. Your shoulder to cry on …Your person to call with BIG news! They are your family and there is no doubt about it. I met Liz 2 weeks after moving to North Carolina on Myspace bahaha! Crazy right! This was going on 6 years ago now! I feel like she has been there my whole life though. Every chance I get I love to photographer her because she has the most beautiful spirit about her and it truly resinates in the images I take of her.

I moved away from NC 2 years ago this month and we have remained the absolute best of friends.(She can’t get rid of me haha!) They have been about 5 hours from us here in SAV and we have both made huge efforts to see each other several times a year with being pretty close. This week they are packing up all there belonging though and its now there time to venture from NC to their hometown in Michigan to begin there next chapter. I am so incredibly sad that they are moving so far away (20 hours! WAH) but I know that our bond will stand the test of distance and even if those trips become once a year now it will feel as if she has never left my side. On to the point now! Haha! Liz and Jose have been living on the most charming street in downtown New Bern in our sweet little town. I thought that since we just had our last visit there with them living there it was only appropriate that we take some images of them on that beautiful street.
