I am not quite sure you could call this an elopement. It was more of an intimate ceremony. Elopements are pretty small and usually require little to no planning. Dori had a different dream when it came to planning the day she would marry the love of her life, Royce. She thought out every detail and planned as much as you possibly could for a wedding with 15 attendees. She planned it for Royce’s father’s Birthday who is no longer with us and incorporate so many sweet details to honor that. They both included their children as there bridal party and truly made them feel special. It was such a beautiful touch.
I am not sure I have ever seen a bride so calm on her wedding day. Dori was so collected as she got ready in their beautiful row house in downtown Savannah with just her and her daughter, mother and a close friend. Her love and admiration for her soon to be husband truly radiated from her. How could she not be calm? Today was the day she would marry the love of her life!
